I have been shooting ever since I can remember. It started when my dad, uncle and I went to a camera store to buy a camera for my uncle. I was so mesmerized by the pictures on the wall and the cameras on the shelves. I had to have one. It took a lot of convincing, but I left the store that day with my own Kodak 110 pocket camera and I have had a camera by my side ever since.

My career ultimately developed around technology and software consulting, where my role was to persuade others to adopt new technologies. But I never lost the passion for photography. I shoot to document the lives of those around me - to convey a message or tell a story about the people around me and the earth on which we live. The images in this collection are mostly from travels through Turkey and Greece as well as my second home in the Eastern Sierra mountains in Mono County, California. Long after that Kodak 110, I ended up with my Dad’s Zeiss Ikon, which I still use today. But whichever camera is in my hands, I still get that same feeling of exhilaration I did as a kid when I capture a moment in time that speaks to me and I hope to you as well.
